My involvement in art began when, as a young boy, I would often sit and watch my father transform a white sheet of paper into a beautiful watercolour painting. Since then I have always been involved in some aspect of the creative process whether, photography, music, writing or art. I studied art in Secondary School in Canada and went on to graduate University of Ottawa with a degree in English Literature and subsequently obtained my Visual Art qualifications there as well. In addition I have studied in the ateliers of accomplished oil and waterclour artists in Canada and Singapore.

My first interest in painting was portraiture and it continues to be a major factor in my life. I also love Abstract Expressionism, a totally different style I realize, but I enjoy the discipline of the former and the freedom of the latter.

I have sold art in Europe, Canada and Singapore. Currently I divide my time between homes in Canada and Java, Indonesia.
